Thanks bro, I appreciate it! They were a big influence growing up, along with Depeche Mode and a few other synth-pop acts... Now I can pay homage to them with my remixes :D

I really like the concept (Erasure fukn roxx) and good synth work.. Driving yet melodic and inspirational.. I had it in my head for over a week.. :D

just to note , i can not produce i have tried and i am not good at it .

that said . it is not a new concept that an erasure song has a trance mix . i have some erasure 12's and most of them have a trance mixs on them .

for some reason i wasnt feeling the snares with the tune . it could just be me . the rest is alright . not bad and not great . overall a decent job . keep it up and you will get better . i have friends who started out remixin favorite songs . it helps to get your ear tuned .

I know what you're talking about with the snares sounding off, but they're not. There was one line of synth that was "married" to the vocal dub, and every other measure it would start on the beat, or one 1/2 beat late...some weird timing thing the original producer had for that dub. So the 4 on the floor beats sound "off." I think I just need to tweek it some more, but I have a lot of other work ahead of me, so I'm gonna put this one on the back burner for a while. Thanks for the input though.

i meant , i dont like the sound . the snares sound to rough for the track . to industrial . you need a trance snare . maybe a tighter soundin snare . imo

I guess that's just personal preference, but I am trying to craft a harder industrial-edged trancey sound. It may not be right for something as melodic as Erasure, but I think experimenting is the key to finding something new. Some people like it, others don't. As long as there are a few people who like it, I'm gonna assume I'm on the right track.
