Thread: Help me

  1. #1 Help me
    Techies?

When I go to download mixes from the TS downloads page, instead of a window opening and asking me if I want to save or open the file, Quicktime starts up and tries to stream the file. In fact, it happens everywhere on the net when I try to download audio files. I've tried all the options in Firefox and Quicktime and can't figure out how to NOT stream files I click on.

I recently got an iPod and installed iTunes. I think that's what is fucking me up.

I want to download music dammit.

    Help me Please!!!

Okay that trick works with Internet Explorer. Thanks.

I don't know what the fuck is wrong with Firefox.

Firefox is a cunt that way.
    Save link as?
    I'd try reinstalling Firefox.

its a setting somewhere...and you're right quicktime prolly overwrote it. Ya know this happened to me at one point as well, don't think I ever made the correlation.

its prolly within quicktime, or maybe reset the File Type within windows. (In windows explorer click tools->options->File Types->Find mp3 and reset to whatever program you were using before....if its changd)

Yeah man the wording is different...right click, and just hit "save link as." I've had FF on mine with iTunes and had the same thing happen too. Just make sure you're on the actual mp3 link and not something like "...mp3.html" or "...mp3.php" or some shit.
