I renewed my ID online when it expired and months later I lost it I went just Tuesday 1-15-13 and got an ID I'm in Galveston County and I have tickets in 3 different citys its only if you try to get your DL then they will arrest you but its a law that you have some kind of identification on you in the state of TX!

Okay, this is what happened! I went to the DPS office near Jupiter and 635 in Dallas. I was scared because I had a couple of traffic ticket warrants out but needed my ID for a Drug Test for a job. I was not arrested and the process was quick after waiting in the lobby for a little over an hour. Make sure you go early in the morning and take all your documents i.e., Birth Cert., SS card, and two forms of paper work showing you receive mail at your address no later than 90 days old. BTW, my 1st two pay checks will go to paying off those two tickets. If I had of paid them in the 1st place instead driving to see a woman I was in love with, I wouldn't be in this mess - sad part is she left me anyway. What people will do in the name of love!

Does anyone know if Galveston Texas checks for warrants when going to get a STATE ID? I need to know ASAP please. Thanks in advance! Warrants are from, Florida, Kansas and Virginia. Not talking about me neither lol, my DL are suspended but all I have to do is pay then an get them back I have no warrens thank goodness.
