How was the last movie you watched?

I just watched this one. I have to say that I liked it.
I dont often like action/adventure movies. Due in large
part that I always know the ending. Kinda like Adam Sandler
movies. I like those but it's always the same story line.
(Boy meets girl, girls hates boys, boy does something interesting,
girl starts to like boy, boy fucks it up and then boy gets girl back)
This movie was pretty cool and in the end when the terrorist
have him it seems scary as hell.

The last movie I watch should have been, but was not. Public Enemies is a shit movie IMO. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

What didn't you like about it? I thought the story line was good. I thought they did a good job of building up the characters and their relationships with one another. However, the camera work was subpar, and at times looked like it was filmed with a Canon 5D's.

the last movie i saw (aside from our weekly bad movie night) was 2012. it was pretty good. i still think its funny John Cusack was the hero!! woody harlson part was freaking hilarious!!!

What didn't you like about it? I thought the story line was good. I thought they did a good job of building up the characters and their relationships with one another. However, the camera work was subpar, and at times looked like it was filmed with a Canon 5D's.

The camera work was ruining it from the beginning, it had the Bourne-effect but for no reason. I didn't think the acting was great, especially Christian Bale and the guy that played Hoover. They were overacting too much and it sounded like they were characters in a movie made in the 30's, not about the 30's (I think they were trying really hard to sound exactly like recordings of Pervis and Hoover and they just couldn't pull it off). All in all it was just boring and I didn't really care much about any of the characters. From about 20 minutes in I was just like "eh" and they never won me back from there.

I didn't know too much about the story of John Dillinger so it's not like I knew exactly what was going to happen, quite the opposite really. And I was watching it on Blu Ray through a 54" Panasonic with my Onkyo 6.1 system doing the sound duties so I think I got pretty close to the theatrical experience. And I generally like those kind of films too. Just not this one.

It was good. Special Effects were cool and the story line was interesting. Had some holes though and some characters weren't really explained clearly enough. Defiantly a popcorn flick. I'd say watch this for the bad ass effects but that's about it.

Has anyone seen Avatar yet? I'm gonna see that soon hopefully. I love James Cameron's movies.

Next was awesome. That story was by the same author that did A Scanner Darkly, Minority Report, and Paycheck.
