Greetings all!

Firstly I'd like to say thank you for patroning our lovely lil corner of the Internet. As you know there are several costs when maintaining a site of any size. To help offset these costs, as well as help purchase other things to giveaway (i.e. shirts, stickers, cds) we depend on all of YOU!

Fortunately theres several ways you can help out. The most direct way is donations of $. This can be done in person, or via Paypal here on the web. See the main page, lower right corner (http://teknosounds.com), or the Donate link at the top of the page.

Another way to indirect help out is to click on the links of the Google Ads to the right of the page. This is fairly painless as you don't even have to stay on the other site for any period of time or look around on the site. Just by clicking the link you generate ~$0.25-$0.50. So even a few clicks a day go a long way!

I'll see what I can scrape 2gether after paying my big bills this month. It's car insurance and vehicle registration time this month for me. blah!

how does it cost 500+ a month? bandwidth usages?

a month...? where'd ya get that? The $500 was yearly costs, tho that was back when I was on my old host, now its down to about $275/year with this new one since I'm not having to pay additional fees for my database. Tho last year I forked out an additional $200 to get a license for vbulletin and this dark blue skin I'm using.

Donations would be good for recouping costs I've spent for here over the past 3 years, as well as looking into buying tshirts, boxers and thongs (yeah baby!), badge lanyards and stickers with the TS logo to hand out at events... (i.e. printed lanyards were about $720 per 1000 on one site i was lookin at)

not many people do pay attention it Don't really need it for yearly fees atm (paid thru next year) tho theres always the next time... but extra funds could mean things like tshirt or sticker giveaways and the like

i have never seen any ads either, just the in-house ads at the top. firefox, no add-ons, os x
